The Maine Home & Garden Show, hosted by the University of  Southern Maine, is the first Home and Garden Show to dedicate its focus solely to the homeownership experience.  The following is a example of products and services featured:

No matter how long old man Winter tries to hold on, Spring is bursting through and that means it’;s time for The Maine Home and Garden Show offering a unique twist for home and garden enthusiasts.  Downeast Show Promotions has been working through this long stormy winter to ensure your visit to the show will be memorable and set the mood for the upcoming Spring Season.  Visitors will feast their eyes on beautiful garden displays, extensive innovative home improvement ideas, over the top outdoor living spaces and so much more. 

 

Haven’t built your dream home yet?  This show will indulge the future home owners an array of Custom Home Builders, Unique Modular Designs, Log and Timber Home Construction, Awe-Inspiring Landscaping ideas to Kitchens & Baths and much more, you will find it all at the Maine Home and Garden Show. 

 

A special addition this year is our Maine Go Green Expo, where Maine Green companies will showcase their products and services from green building materials to energy efficient home heating to electric cars.  Come take a ride in the newest electric cars on the market. The Maine Go Green Expo will be an opportunity to explore ways to lower the impact of daily living.  Many Companies in this year’s Maine Home and Garden Show will help you achieve energy independence or lower your existing cost.  The goal is to create a cleaner environment and achieve a sustainable lifestyle.

 

We have gathered together a collection of companies from Maine & New Hampshire who are committed to providing the setting for this beautiful show, who understand Maine people, their land, traditional lifestyles and values.  

 

The Costello Sports Complex on USM's Gorham Campus is an incredible 60,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility.  With its high cielings, open space and bright lighting, it is an ideal setting for the Maine Home and Garden Show.    We have created a show layout within this space to encourage companies to go beyond the standard show display.  

Want to do some shopping while your at the show?  There will be plenty you can take home with you such as art from local Maine artisans, plants and flowers, organic baked goods and much more.  You never know what kind of treasures you will find at the Maine Home and Garden Show.

 

The Maine Home and Garden Show concessions will serve up tasty deli sandwiches, pizza, soups, salads and drinks.  There will also be a full service bar available during the three day show.

 

Maine communities have a strong connection to the University of Maine system.  USM is the education center for young people that help create the twenty-first century business community.  We are thrilled to have this show here and see it as a great partnership.  Visit the show and also introduce your family to the USM Campus.

There’s plenty of Accessible free parking and wide aisles within the show help bring a customer-friendly atmosphere to this exciting event. 

 

Show hours are Friday, March 28th 12 – 7, Saturday, March 29th 9-7 and Sunday, March 30th 9 – 5. Admission for Adults is $7, Youth (7-17) $2.  Children under

7 are Free when accompanied by an adult.  Check area newspapers for discount coupons good for $1 off admission.
